Besides shopping and catering establishments, De Koog is also a fantastic starting point for various walking and cycling routes, so nature lovers can also enjoy themselves here! De Koog is only 5 minutes by bike from our hotel. Do you prefer walking? Within 26 minutes you are in the heart of De Koog.

Fun shopping is certainly possible in De Koog! The center of De Koog consists of two streets: the Dorpstraat and the Nikadel. Here you will find a wide range of different stores filled with the nicest souvenirs, clothing or home accessories. Are you looking for a good book? Also for this you can go to De Koog. The best thing about shopping in De Koog is that many of the stores here are concept stores run by independent entrepreneurs. You will see less of the large chain stores here, enjoy the authentic feeling of shopping in De Koog!

Getting a breath of fresh air on the beach 

Did you know that De Koog is close to the beach? In autumn you can get a breath of fresh air and walk along the coast on the beautiful Texel beach. But you can also come here in the summer, as a real sun worshipper.
